Tomorrow morning (Thursday 26th) sees the launch of a new biography of former Wales, Halifax and Keighley star of the 1950s/60s Garfield Owen. Anyone not working at the time is very welcome. It's in the banqueting suite in the new East Stand at The Shay Stadium, Halifax, at 11 for 11.30am. Billy Boston, Kel Coslett, Geoff Pimblett and other stars of the past will be present. Free entry, free food and bar open (but not free).
