| Shame really as he has just started to show his true potential. Hull FC putting a decent pack together for next season. We need to start getting ours sorted now,

| Has this been confirmed by anyone other than the Hull Daily Fail as I'm seeing no other news reports about it?

| Was hoping we could keep Lisone as he’s become really useful of the bench.
However, given the green light has been given for 10 overseas players for next year and we only have 5, assuming ECW leaves, I wonder if we may try to get Arthur’s son to play hooker as part of a plan to keep the coach and Ackers is not getting picked in the 17 and looks on the outer.
Not sure we need the other son as HB cover but maybe he could play for Bradford with Ackers in SL next year ?
We need a replacement for Lisone as well but Blease now has a bit more work to do/ possible scope to reposition the squad a bit further.
I’m off down the bookies to get £20 on man of steel for 2026. Blease signs Joe Westerman to play prop and he turns into Arthur Beetson but Wane won’t pick him for the World Cup .

Love the idea that next year will be "Arthur's go Yorkshire" but it looks like the two boys are going to be at Newcastle, and moving to the UK has to be the right thing for them as well as Dad. The hooker, is the younger one, and, maybe the one with more to lose by upping sticks and coming to the UK. The other is a half (a decent player and far better than championship standard) but probably not what we need.

| If he wants to leave a huge club that is clearly on the rise again, then so be it.. says to me he's not got great judgement or the correct attitude. I am sure Leeds will have offered him a very solid deal.
We have some serious overseas spots now to play with.... really could do with tying Arthur down now so we can get him to help bring some high quality in.

| I was highly critical of Lisone last season. In the last few games he's effectively eradicated the weaker areas of his game (discipline, errors etc) - it's like he's been told to do a really simple job and is focusing on it to good effect. In the Rohan days he was often being out-muscled by non-impact forwards playing for other teams, in large part because of the weaker forwards around him (Sangare, for example) and the team's defensive attitude based on conserving energy. He's now one of the better impact forwards in SL, if not the best.
Listening to some of the player interviews, it is becoming clear that we rely on him more than ever to bring that extra energy in critical parts of games. I would be happy to keep him from this perspective. If he goes, alongside Gannon, that is a serious hole in the forward pack that needs filling by someone good. I used to think we might be best using Lisone's quota space for another hooker, but not sure now. After Palasia and Jenkins, I'm pretty confident that Arthur will be able to find adequate replacements for Gannon and Lisone (again, if he stays...). Frawley presumably departing as well?

| Nothing from the Club but FC and Sky have both announced it.
He’s gone for the cash, blatantly but i don’t really blame any player for doing that at his stage of his career.
He will need to carry on his form and fitness otherwise they’ll get the player we saw for the last few years.
I trust Blease to replace him adequately.
