I couldn't make it but I watched it and the question I wished was asked was why the hell are the top 8 in SL keeping their points after 23 rounds if we are going back to a top 4 playoff?

Look at this season as a example.
Position 8 is on 21 points and position 4 is on 30 points (That is only going to get wider from now until the end of the season). So the team in position 8 would need 4 more wins and a draw from 3 homes games just to draw level with the team in position 4.
It's just not going to happen so it's going to be no less pointless for teams after the split then it is now with 7 games to go for most.
