Because he is a coach who understands that you can play so many youngsters but once you go too far your on a hiding to nothing and the kids gain nothing from it at all. Much better to get to old heads (Lynch/Radders) to steady the ship and guide them along.

Which is why the players and gameplan PG put out was proved to be 100% correct, hence the faith in PG.

PG as played more youngsters in the first 9 games of this season than FC under Agar did for 3 years, so I really don't get where Cooke is coming from, and lets face it Radders was superb.

Who cares what a spent force like Cooke thinks - just some bitter old head like Schofield is on twitter now.

When your talking about Radford, your not talking about a player who was a 'never was' you're talking about a former international player who probably had a season left in him but retired to take an opportunity that wouldn't have been available at the end of this season.

Good job the Doncaster management didn't take the same approach to blooding youngsters instead of taking someone out of retirement - Radford played more recently than Cooke did.

It's just the audacity from a now-self-proclaimed 'neutral' that got me.
