They can be interchangeable, Brough and Robinson for example.

From the NZ Warriors link, they class him as a half, reservations about his size but not his ability.

He is older and bigger (taller) than he seems, often quoted as his downside.

Agar seems to be of the opinion he is a 6 who can cover 9 so the question is does this guy takes Sykes' place or Wildie's?

I'm inclined to think Sykes.

Sykes is not a out-and-out stand off as some people has stated - although the team worked a lot better when he was playing along side Smith who has left us obviously. However Sykes is at the back-end of the career and has been getting injuries.
