I entered the ground today and took my usual spot in the North stand.Three Wigan women in their fifties then started haranguing me telling me i couldn't stand there and that i should go and stand with my own fans! When i'd finished laughing i not so politely told them that i'd stand wherever i wanted.I also informed them that it wasn't an away stand and that their was no segregation at Wakefield.By the end of the game i wished i'd taken their advice due to the constant drum banging which gave me a headache.I now think that the Northstand should be for home fans only from next season.The noise that the stand generates should be used to our advantage not the away clubs.It can't be difficult to erect barriers down either side and have admittance from the Doncaster road turnstiles only.I realise that this means segregation at Belle Vue but we will have to get use to that at Newmarket.Thoughts anyone?

Don't ban it. Allow it in but then shove it up the owners back passage. Aggressively

i agree i asked this question to elston at the last forum,it should be made for home fans only from next season with an entrance from behind we have built it and only away fans are using it .as the saying goes use it or lose it

Must admit I have always stood on the west terrace but if had been in the north stand would have been well peaved with the drummer.Why cant the club turn them away at the turnstile.Didnt make the wire home game but the lad said their was someone with a drum at that game.If you want to be a musician join a music club and get lessons.

They should ban anyone who goes to a game to make noise and have fun. Talking should only be permitted at half time. I hope the club identify the culprit and ban him for life.

I'm with you on this one.I moved & stood in front of the beer caravan only to hear a Wakey fan F-ing Hock this & F-ing Hock that

The stewards were stood about ten feet away and did nothing

I think it's a disgrace that any visiting fan think they have a right to tell our fans where they can and can't stand in our own ground. Until now I've found Wigan fans to be some of the most likeable in the game. Shame that some like this should tarnish it. It's our blinking ground!

As an aside, Wigan again were class and a superb try from Tomkins. Such a shame that yet again, such a superb side tarnish things by playing to the edge or beyond the rules of the game with so many questionable referring decisions going their way. They can beat us fair and square without pushing their luck. I don't begrudge their victory, just the nature of it leaves a sour taste.

Why ? in a open space where your at liberty to go stand anywhere you choose. Would you also like to ban alchohol completely ?
Alchohol kills more people be it indirectly through drunk drivers or alchohol related crimes or alchohol related illnesses than smoking ever has.Get a grip man.I as a smoker have no problem with not smoking in confined areas and inflicting my habit on others,yet people like yourself choose to ignore the ed up asshole stood next to me who wants to fight the world, Damn sure in a whole area as big as Belle Vue you could find somewhere not next to a smoker to stand, so stop using this board to promote your ill informed own petty opinions and talk about the game dingbat.Ps do some research.

It maybe "open air" but it does linger and people around smokers can smell and inhale it. The "smoking" argument is a very long and extensive one which would more than fill this forum.

If you desire to smoke at the match why not request a smoking area. As opposed to letting everyone else inhale smoke fumes when they have no desire to.
