Think it is a good idea for your clubs sake. After 4 years with him at the helm I really feel sorry for his next club whoever it is.

sorry but this really is pathetic , if agar is the boards choice then so be it WE as fans have got to give the bloke a chance there seems to be a hate campaign against him before hes even stepped in the place , im all for giving someone a chance if after 2 months we havent won a game then complain but not before hes even started it cant be worse than this season can it.

As a club member and soneone who cares passionately about our future, I am more than entitled to question the choice of coach and voice an opinion.

It can get worse! If Agar can't coach a team of internationals and a big budget, he can't coach strugglers and triers like us! Nor will he change us from strugglers and triers, to a competitive side.

I think a few people on here need to take a bit of a reality check.
Who with any experience were we ever likely to get, hes a better choice than Noble Morgan or Millward, others mentioned have no SL experience, some of them were just plain lunacy and we were never likely to get Gentle who may go on to be as successful as his predecessor!!!!.
We are a small club with a poor track record, a history of bad finances and a poor stadium.
Maybe in a few years with a bit of stability we may be able to bring in a better coach who knows?
For know he (if he comes) starts with a clean slate and i will judge him on his job here at BV.

Desmond Decker, Agar is not the fans choice if you look at recent polls on this forum. Fans vote with their pockets. Some are happy for him to come to Wakefield, some are not. We all have a voice and a right to be heard.

I would take issue with the idea that he is better than Millward and Morgan!

Agar won't change us from being a "small" club, nor will be provide stability. We need to improve and grow, not stay where we are!

there maybe a culture at hull that hasnt changed for years HE isnt my choice but how you can predict a new start with new players who gain is respect it wont be any different you cant so give the guy a chance and if your not going to get behind him and the clubs decision if agar is the choice then your not a fan at all theres no point taking your bat and ball home if we havent appointed who you wanted only time will tell who is right and who is wrong

Agar has his flaws, so do other coaches, but I feel certain that he's left us a much better team than what he inherited. The culture of the club is much better too, the 'drinking culture' of Tansey, Thackray, Berrigan and King was weeded out by Agar. The player's all seem to really like playing for him (may be too much?) a lot of people speak highly of him.

He has taken us from bottom of the league to guaranteed top 8 finishes. He atleast deserves a chance.

Explain to me why you think Millward and Morgan are better coach's?
The FC fans were having a party when JK left, he did ok under terrible conditions, until lately.
I think we need to be realistic about our place in SL and how we are viewed by the outside world.
Maybe after few years growth and with NM sorted we will be a better option for better coach's.
