But not one of the tripe hounds who come on this forum to vent their acid envy mentioned a great performance by our kids . well next year we will be in our brand new ground with a team already being assembled for the next campaign . So all you wannabes playing in ya rented football stadiums can sod off , WELL DONE THE KIDS

P.S I do think Saints youngsters are doing a job at the moment, but idiots like the OP get on my nerves with all the "look at us" BS!

Our young players are outstanding this season. Sure, one or two leave a bit to be desired defence-wise, but their effort, the way they have seemlessly blended into the side no matter how short the call up time has been, and some of the skill they have displayed gives every Saints fan great heart not only for this season but also for next - especially for next!

Nathan Ashe was terrific, for example. Just back from injury, probably a week's notice to play, debut performance in place of one of the best fullbacks to grace a pitch during Superleague, and he not only works hard but his intuition, step and nifty ball work helps to set up a try. Pity he couldn't have scored one for himself, as that would have topped off his debut beautifully!

Seven of our players yesterday were aged 21 and under. And not one looked out of place. Their performances are a testimony to the fantastic work done by our youth coaches and the ability of our present head coach to bring out the best in them even though the make up of the team changes every week.
