Absolutely garbage coverage of the sport once again by the Mirror today. No match report. A small article on Warrington and playing Mc Carthy at Wembley with a small picture at the side showing a Huddersfield lower limb and the caption saying McCarthy. Are they taking the pi** or what?

They are not the only culprits.
Last nights BBC TV North West News sports section had a piece on Accrington Stanley's troubles,another on Sale Sharks Rugby Union Club,who it stated were now getting 10,000 spectators, but no mention of the vital game of Rugby League involving a Local Club "Saints" who were playing Leeds in an important Championship Game.

I have just read that - pathetic coverage once again, there is an article on a brit who might not play basketball in the 2012 olympics!!

They never have the friday match report. As the game finishes at 10 the paper will be in print by then.

The current bun seems to manage it ok.

I think they got closer to 8.5 lat night in their first game of the season, against the champions.

Midlands edition has got a few paragraphs about last night*s game....It also said that Keith Senior won the man of the match.....!!!!

It's a second choice for me. Keeps the rest of the family happy and regards print deadlines the Times managed to report on the game which is my first choice newspaper.
