According to my calculations Rhinos 69 had 11 points for round 27. All results correctly predicted and both Wigan V Bulls and Quins V Wolves the exact margin

This should give a total of 153 for the comp

according to my calculations i should have scored 11 not 9 points and therefore a total of 150, as i predicted all 7 winners correctly and got both wigan v bull nad quins v wolves with the correct margin.

May I suggest a couple of things:

1) That people PM their predictions to Frosties to avoid the person in each match predicting second having an advantage.

2) That the scoring system is clarified to save arguments after the weekend.

If I remember correctly from last year the winner is determined by

a) The person who scores the most points using the system for the regular rounds (1 point for predicting winner, 2 points for exact margin)

b) If the scores are tied, then the person whose predictions have a smaller combined degree of error in their predictions will win

For example, in the Saints/Warrington game if Saints win by 10 and the following predictions are made by the 2 predictors

Saints by 6
Saints by 12

Then the players will score 4 (for Saints by 6) and 2 points (Saints by 12) respectively.

In the following example, any prediction for Warrington would score 10 + the predicted Warrington win (i.e. Warrington by 2 would score 12 points)

Rhinos69 had 139 points before this week so ended up on 150 points. If you are querying the 139 points now, I would suggest it should have been done before this week.

By my calculations the top 8 (excluding Craigloiner who isn't eligible for the playoffs) is

It's kind of equivalent to radio phone in tie-breakers where the nearest answer wins and the person guessing second really only has to judge whether they think the first answer is too high or too low and guess 1 higher or low accordingly.

Of course, that it assuming that people would want to enter the competition in a cynical matter (which I am not accusing anyone of but it seems fairer for everyone to PM their predictions to Frosties and them him post them when both have predicted).
