Well, that's that then! 
I think its safe to say that most - if not all Trinity fans have enjoyed the season we have just had! 
Thanks to all the players, coaches, staff and of course Matt Ellis and family for making our club what it is now 


Just wanted to gauge the feeling of fans...


Things like best 40mins, fave game, fave player, best signing, best try, fave moment and of course for balance - worst! 




Best 40mins - At home v HKR - we really needed that! 


Fave Game - Well, tricky to be honest.... But, for me (just) away at Dirty Leeds first up. No-one gave us a chance and we played well despite missing a few players, and outplayed Leeds.


Fave Player - Would have to go for Oli Pratt, has come on leaps and bounds and frightened some defences to death! 


Best Signing - Matty Storton, enjoyed watching him play and we missed him big time when he went off v Leigh.


Best Try - Caius - Captain Chaos himself - v The Inbreds at Magic! 


Fave Moment - Beating Dirty Leeds at home in the last minute! Obviously! 


Worst game - Cas Away -     And anytime we played Saints it seems!! 


Worst Half - Second Half at Hull FC. Unbelievable!

Best 40 minutes - Likewise (KR at home).


Favourite game - difficult choice between thumping Cas at Magic Weekend or beating Leeds at BV....Magic just shades it for me.


Favourite player - Max...we were usually a better team when he was on the park.


Best signing - Big Mike....the guy transformed our pack.


Best try - there can only be one...Captain Chaos at Magic.


Favourite moment - not Trin related....seeing Harry Newman AND Jake Connor in tears after getting beaten by Saints on Saturday...ohh how we laughed !!!


Favourite Trin moment was beating Leeds with that drop goal.


Worst game - losing at Cas.


Worst half - second half at Hull FC.






Now looking forward to going to Wembley to see the first Ashes Test

Sure will. The best season we’ve had in SL for donkeys years. Mcmeeken is the best signing we’ve made while I’ve been watching (I’m mid 30’s). I was unsure about Lino and have been a critic but he has had a great overall season and is a 7 that can help us compete within the 6  I feel like all the players genuinely played to their best a high percentage of the games. 

The Leigh game though disappointing still shows us how far we’ve come. We have a new signing gearing up to play in the NRL GF, which I also feel shows us how far we’ve come. 

Best 40 mins 
It has to be HKR at home. Just a wonderful performance considering what had happened at Castleford a week before.


Best game 
The Magic weekend game against Cas.


Fav Player 
Mason Lino, he had an outstanding season and silenced the doubters.


Best signing 
Mike Mcmeekin, a true leader.


Best Try
Jayden Myers second try against the Giants. A great wingers try.


Fav moment 
Seeing the Rhinos players following Lino's drop goal .


Worst Game unit
Has to be Cas away, so frustrating, when we should have been so up for it.


Worst 40 mins 
Have to go with Hull away.

 Best 40mins - Obvious but at home v HKR.

Fave Game - Leeds at home, last-minute Lino drop goal was the biggest buzz of the season. Wigan at home was also right up there, beating them with both French and Field playing. 


 Fave Player - Pittsy. 


 Best Signing - Magic Mike, absolute legend this season 


 Best Try - Caius at Magic, but for something different. That one against Catalans away, where it was a set move just before half time, Pitts to Atoni, who passes to Cauis, who one landed off loads to Lino, who drops it off to back to Atoni, who one hand offloads it to Griffin. to score a cracking try. 


 Fave Moment - Either of Lino's drop goals to win. 


 Worst game - Cas away was gutting, given what it meant at that time. 


 Worst Half - As others have said, the second Half at Hull FC. To go from being in complete control to then come out and look like we've never played with each other was confusing as well as shocking.

I've just realised how it happened, I use this browser extension called Dark Reader that turns browser pages from white/bright to dark, so when you spend time on the computer, it doesn't strain your eyes, and for some reason when it's on in this forum it only sees the dark, not the white writing it converts it to. I must have had it turned off on this forum before I just had to do a fresh Windows 11 install.
