I think it's self evident that we will make strides in 2019. Folk need to digest some basics. With a far weaker squad and ridiculous injuries we finished 3 wins off 5th place last season. Stating that 8th would be satisfactory "progress" is utter bullshine in my opinion. It's one thing dampening expectation but we have a way superior pack and top class half in. I'm pleased we have players now talking about grand finals, play offs and trophies because that is exactly the mindset deserved and needed from a squad of this quality.
The first few fixtures could not have fallen better for a fast start. A Derby against a demoralised FC, Salford and London and all at home. We should be three from four minimum. No better chance of a springboard.
