ComeOnYouUll: mwindass: This Leeds Catalans game is terrible
Very poor quality. Neither team offering much in attack. Clearly it is still very early days in the season, only four games in, but watching that game last night I saw nothing from those two sides for us to be scared of.
Leeds and Catalans have stronger squads than us, at least on paper, and in the long run that may be a decisive factor, and we are only a couple of injuries to key players (Asiata, Sezer for example) away from seeing our resources becoming stretched.
But on the basis of the opening four games we have unquestionably started the best out of what would be classed the mid-lower teams. Still a very long way to go obviously, 23 hard games still to play, but surely no black & white can be disappointed with how the first month has panned out so far. At the very least, none of us are scratching our heads wondering where on God's earth will the next win come from, unlike twelve months ago!
It may all come crashing down around our ears at Wakefield/Castleford, this is Fc after all!!, but for the time being I'm quite enjoying feeling positive about what the coming months may bring for the faithful. Let's hope we can continue to feel this way going into Good Friday at least.
