I'd rather get someone in with experience tbh. We don't want to fall into the Newcastle trap of appointing 'messiahs' with little real basis to suggest they will be successful.

daydreaming i think.but why not,with a bit of ambition from our small minded board,would go somewhere to repairing their damaged reputation they have with the fans showing them they do give a toss that our club has become the laughing stock of superleague

Not at all, why some people feel the need to have past players coaching the club is pointless doesn't mean there going to work just because they've been at the club before. Bring someone in who has no ties with the club and won't give a f.ck if he has to drop some home grown players or stars if there been sh.t as of late. I said it before he went to Hudds sign Nathan Brown and we'd of been a different team. He's proved this with Hudds and I'm glad because as soon as he was appointed coach I said that they would be the biggest suprise package!

why go for more unproven coaches - dont say world champs because that was Bennets influence
