He'd be a decent shout for us on a 1 year contract; injuries notwithstanding, he's still a tidy player.

Love him at BV but just can't see us affording him and his re-settlement.

Now that would be a positive bit of news but may be a bit too exciting for MC. We currently do not have a scrum half or hooker signed within the current squad and they are two pivotal positions hence good ones are much in demand and that's why we found it easy to get money for ours.

Yes I am because by sometime next week I would expect we will have no registered players left in the World Cup. At the moment I tend to believe press reports linking our players with other clubs, this is despite the fact that they are all signed to Wakefield and therefore must have our permission to talk to these clubs.

Let's develop our own for a change and put some faith in Wildie and Maskill at 9. Then we can look at getting in a half decent scrum half.

Get Maskill on a 3 month training plan to be ready for the start of SL and on bench. He seems to have the skills to make a good 9.

That's a big call with relegation at the end of next season!

Wildie has been around a while and isnt a young lad anymore, he has experience so can do it. Maskill clearly has the skills but needs a bit more physically.

Cuts need to be made and I think this is one area we can look at. Whilst investing that bit more in scrum half, and forward positions.

I'm looking forward to the fight next year for sure! Wildie got regular game time under kear and looked decent and we didn't get relegated then.

If it had been two down, you know the model we are supporting cos gawwy says we should, then we would have gone down.

I'd like to see Wildie rotating with a more experienced rake. Maskill is nowhere near ready.
