I'm confused, all the know it all Touchline Internationals on here say he's crap yet he's beaten both our hoodoo teams in succession!

So in answer to your question - NO hell no, he's just as rubbish as, Kear, Kelly McNally and all the others 0r he will be next time we lose

Yes Wildthing, he certainly does deserve some praise, both for acheiving some success on the field and for proving the doubters (including myself) wrong

Nowt wrong with doubting, just some made it personal. He needs time, we will dip again but hopefully each dip gets shorter and each winning run gets longer.



Truth is no coach, not Kear or Agar or anyone else could turn us into contenders in 2 seasons after the 2010 collapse of the old club. For me if anything we are slightly ahead of what I expected especially at Youth level.

People are much more likely to complain than compliment - it's a fact of life.

He's done a great job against two sides that we've historically struggled to beat, both of whom probably have about half a million quids worth of player more to choose from than we do; he deserves credit for that.

If that's a glimpse of the style of rugby we can expect under RA, I imagine he's just done more for ST pre-sales than any amount of marketing; just got to stick it up Cas next week and we should smash the 4k target.

Really enjoyed these last couple of games in which we seem to be developing our own style of play, which is very entertaining and high quality RL.

The defense has also been much improved, the line's become much quicker at meeting the attack and players are not getting caught out as much as they were before. The forwards seem to have really found their feet more as the seasons gone on and a few of them have quietly had very good seasons.

Over the years of using forums, it's become a bit of a bad habit using the Yank versions, they're rather slyly trying to force it on us

quite. and it should be pointed out that collis was our worse player last night too. our overseas recruitment was rubbish (aiton and smith aside) for this season when you think of what john/mellars/collis/southern have brought to the party.

Don't think Collis was our worse player at all, played pretty well I thought, it was just that we had 3 or 4 stand out's last night.

I still think John will turn out to be a good signing for us, he just seems to have taken his time to settle down over here. I also think Mellars if we played him on the wing would show us the form that he did at the Crusaders.
