Have to say...that was terrible. The guys didn't give up, but we looked a beaten side from 10 mins. Let's hope Tamata and Orr are 100% for next week.....it was good to hear Karl getting some recognition..

Until we get someone with a good kicking game, we are always going to be back pedling. Everyone else kicks farther and more accurately than us. Result - we cant get into any real attacking position. Even BM addmitted our kicking game was crap. Have to put that down to a positive.
I think its time someone at the club started teaching our players how to dislodge the ball in the tackle. Possesion is critical in this game and we arent going to progress without our share of the ball and we are not winning enough of it. I counted 3 times Hull won the ball off us that way. We didn't run with the ball with any conviction, we just ran forward into the Hull brick wall.
This is going to be a long gruelling season.

If I was a Quins fan i'd be furious with such a dismal, uninspired and dull display.

at Hull we've had 2 seasons of disappointing and boring rugby...but I don't think it ever got that dull.

your biggest issue IMO is that the whole team seems to be roughly the same height and size, there was no impact from anyone, in fact it was hard to tell from a distance who was a prop and who was a back.

sorry Quins fans, but your going to be battling Salford for the wooden spoon on that display. Hull didn't have to leave 2nd gear all game.
