He isn't playing to his usual standard at the minute. I belive the pack are giving the halves the slave needed but his a game isn't being achieved.
The fact his negative traits, not being composed when under pressure / reacting negatively to officials calls is still running strong is more evident as the usual good points over shadow the bad.

Spot on. You need a pack of forwards to do that though we have 1/2 of the required standard so Brough is always playing behind a beaten pack which is getting rolled down the field hence his frustration at poor officials.

you need a pack to work behind true, we need to build around ikahihifo....and give him an extended contract asap

Ikahihifo has obviously worked really hard in pre season and that is what Mamo and Wakeman should do this time around. Rather than bugger off to Aus and come back late for start of pre season they should stay here and work extremely hard in pre season ready and raring for next season.

Will they need to bother to be that fit for the championship?

if we go to the championship they will not be here, all contracts will be void, and that is the only way we can clear the decks, and if that happens i hope it isn,t just the on field deck that is cleared.

I can't believe some people are thinking that relegation would be a good thing. As for just clearing the playing force decks- It won't be, and we won't lose the poorer players- we will just lose the better ones. Jerry and Leroy won't get a look in at England playing in the championship so they won't stick around. we will lose coaching staff, support staff and unlike at KR the terraces will be cleared, and potentially so will Kens involvement. If that happens we won't return.
