Well after yesterdays performance , we can now concentrate on the Hairnets ,after watching the game yesterday i feel the Hairnets will give us more to worry about ,as they also won yesterday , but even though it was far from a good performance by the Leythers , we are improving with each game , so Charlie is going for a Leigh 34 v Hairnets 10 result , iknow i over estimated Swinton yesterday predicting just a 14 point win for the Leythers , but feel Rochdale will be a bit sterner test .

We may not play the best attacking rugby, but it will be a comfortable win by 30-40

Just seen the prices for the game and I have to say the club have got them right. £15 for me in the west stand and a fiver for our Ol is great. What is even better is £1 for juniors in the north stand. Get it advertised now and get another 2000 plus gate. That and a good win will see our crowds steadily rise I think. If we can win and score trys like we have been doing I don't think 2500 is unreall.

As has been said, Rochdale are coming into this match on the back of some good form. They have former Leyth and Widnes lads in their ranks and will be no pushovers. They will no doubt fancy their chances of victory. They have got a bigger squad than Leigh, but I think I'll SCRIKE if I hear this stated in the pre-match build up again. Even if Hornets win and they are no doubt capable of it, I would certainly prefer our players to theirs, if I am totally honest. I would prefer quality over quantity. Rochdale have some good uns but I would still prefer to be in Rowley's shoes than Stanky's. It' s nice not to be playing a Yorkshire team for the second consecutive week. It has felt like we are playing in the Yorks League for too long.
Looking forward to this and hope we can put together a good performance and victory. I know in the cup it's just about getting the win, but hopefully we can build on the momentum of the last two weeks, leading into Fax away.

For me , Paul has had 2 decent wins now an after Sunday it should be 3 , giving him a good opportunity to have a lookat his best 17 players on the day and his best formation in play ,after Sunday we get down to the real stuff with Fax and Sheff both away ,so we have to get it right by then .

As i have said before i have faith in PR to get it right , by now i hope Paul has an idea of his best 17 .

If we beat Rochdale on sunday will our next CC game be on the 29th? Just asking because there is a fare gap between games if not.

Yes, it would be on the weekend of 28/29 April.

Should we lose to Rochdale, then there would be quite a gap, as the Halifax game, the week before the 5th Round, is on a Thursday!

WE play Fax 15th April, and then Sheffield next league game which is on the 6th May, so thats 3 weeks in between the Fax and Sheffield game if the cup weekend is one, what is the other?

Fax on 19th. CC weekend. Then Sheff. No gap there.

Looking forward to this one. Good to be playing another team from this side o Pennines for a change. Do not know who'll be available if DCs return to their clubs etc, but hope we can get some sort of consistency of performance, a win and some momentum leading into Fax away. I do not like to tempt fate and we may of course get turned over, but IF we won and the other so called favourites win their ties, who would everyone fancy next? Keen to stress this will be a toughie and will be genuinely delighted if we do win BTW. Think we are allowed to speculate and dream on here aren't we.
