Drop Briers to the bench or even the 17 and try the above, Bridge is looking good woulod make a good partnership with Monas.

That's what i said four weeks ago.

Everything i complained about at the start of the year like Briers being dropped, poor defensive coach's, poor conditioners etc etc.
I was shot down and told im to negative about he club, four weeks later and everybody else is moaning about the same things

yeah i can understand everyones views what with Monaghan having played so many great games for us unlike Briers who has been poor for ten years.............

it makes sense to stick Moanas he's brilliant....

The reason Monaghan isn't playing up to scratch is because he's playing with Briers.
Monaghan should be given control of the field and than let's see what he can do, he cant control the field at the mo because he's playing with Briers.

agreed, all i see Monas do during the game is feed Briers the ball, he needs to be given a bit more creative freedom. We saw what he can do with the delayed pass to Louis and the cut-out pass to Hicks which sent him away.

but briers has been doing this for years for martin Gleeson Ben Westwood Logan Swann etc.... but I guess if you close your eyes enough you can forget What Briers does and imagine Monaghan is brilliant.

Briers has done nothing for the past 2 years, irrelevant of what he done 6, 7, 8 years ago he shouldn't be guaranteed a place in the team because he once was a good player, the guy is finished and should be replaced.

Imo he was never a great player anyway, poor discipline, poor defense and compered to everybody else in the league poor kicking game, he's played with some great people like Langer, Johns and even Wood was better than him and yet he is still a liability, only plays the games he wants to play, constantly spits his dummy out (that's why he's here in the first place) and he never and would never get a regular Great Britain place for as long as Ive got a hole in my ar$e.

I would rather have Briers/Monas partnership than any other, what concerns me is we are limiting Monas creativity as all he is doing is feeding Briers the ball instead of working along side him

Am I not right in thinking that Briers did not play in several games at the end of last season when injured and I dont recall Monas being brilliant then either!!

Indeed, plus Briers didn't play part way during the season which started at Cas away but Monas came back for the next game but Briers didn't return against the Quins and had a shocker.
