He's really playing well at present. He's played well all season but over the last few games he has really stepped up and shown us what he is capable of. He was master of the pitch tonight and chimed in with plays of his own just when he was needed. He is a joy to watch in this mood, he really is.

he thives against weak defences that stand off from him - Salford basically gave him space and 'dared' him to run at them ... big mistake.

For me his performance last week says alot more about how he has matured this season though , it was a big game with alot of pressure on him and he didnt go missing.

Well done Leon keep it up.

That has got to be one of the best individual performances I've ever seen from any player. Every single thing Leon touched turned to gold. He was mercurial. Magical. Sensational. The best 6 in this country by a distance you'd need a 747 to cross.

Some of the passing, the steps, the angles and the interplay with the likes of Wellens were simply world class, nothing less than that. If someone like Benji Marshall played like that in a game people would rave about it, because it's Leon a lot of people moaned that Wello didn't get MOM for his 4 try romp. A performance from Leon tonight that was perfection. So many highlights, so many moves and pieces of pure genius.

On a seperate note how amazing was Ashurt's try? Bloody hell in a boat.

I nipped for a quick wee after the previous try had been scored. I just presumed the following cheers were for a successful conversion! Turns out I had missed a cracker

I thought he was very patchy last night, great when we were dominating and rolling forward but anonymous the rest of the time.

All in all I didn't think it was a good performance from the team at all. We completely failed to stop them once they got near our line, we couldn't stop them offloading, and their defensive line speed was much better than ours. The defence out wide was very poor.

We can't let a bottom side come to KR and score 34 points if we hope to win anything.

What you put about it not being a good performance overall by the team is right, but the stuff about Leon is just ridiculous!

He was everywhere, involved and usually solely responsible for the 58 points we scored yet you say he was patchy? Ask Paul Wellens how Leon played, as he put all of those tries on a plate for him, tied a bow around them and handed them over with a kiss. He was utterly brilliant last night, I wish people would give him the credit he deserves when he does well as people are all too quick to criticise him whenever he has a quiet game.

People think that when he isn't running at the line, he's gone to sleep. They don't look for what he is doing in the background: the organising, the passing, the defending. For some reason, Leon should always be breaking the line, scoring tries, whatever, and if he isn't, then he has disappeared. I don't really think he's disappeared much this season, if at all. He seems to have really moved on in his game.

Shame he never turns up at a final - professional choker !!
