At least it's only one gane. Probably Smith to loose with either Jenkins or Palaasia to the bench. Logically it's another chance for young Sinfield or return to the fold for Ackers. Cassell could be a long shot, but think it's more likely he would get a shot against Salford.
Against the backdrop of being utterly ruthless against Salford. As in making sure we win the game, then significantly improving our for and against.
They'll rest some against Salford, they'd be mad not to, given the strong likelihood that we are going to be involved in play offs. I wouldn’t worry to much about Cassell not being ready. He's a big athletic lad who's already dominating in the reserves. A very exciting player. It was great to heat Iestyn Harris waxing lyrical (on the Lot Pod) about the talent coming through our system and how if we can get it right now we could be set fair for the next 10 years.
Indeed, but it's an opportunity to claw back some of the f/a, especially compared with Sts. On the basis that it'll be tight points wise, not having in effect a nailed on extra point disadvantage may pay dividends.
I've no doubts about any player in the 17 under BA, and good to hear about the talent coming though. I've said elsewhere, the way the game is going, those clubs producing homegrown players will have a significant advantage, not least cap wise, in the coming years.
