Reffed queens a today..ill disciplined. a joke of a team?? what a laugh..the most polite, friendly group of players i have ever reffed..yes they got one or two who like to talk back but hasnt every team.

A joy to ref and talk to..they just got nudged out 18-14 and if simon wilkes there scrum half hadnt of gone off injured i reckon they could have won..would ref them every week.

I've got Brighous U14 tomorrow... hope they (or more accurately their Parents) are a joy too.

Kids are the hardest to ref because of the Parents IMO. I just tell the kids, "listen, your dad doesnt know anything... i'm in charge"

My lad plays for a under 11s team and imo junior league refs are top quality people

A couple of seasons ago I saw the ref from a local team's Saturday match running the touchline at Headingley the following day . He was paid 15 quid for the Saturday morning game . I would guess he got more on the Sunday .

I know interchange official for Championship/Championship 1 gets about £40 so £55/60 for TJ in the Super League maybe?

A lot of officials still do the Saturday games if the societies are short on numbers. Some think they are too big though

I've got mates football in the morning. I enjoy amateur RL to fulfill my Saturdays though.

I retted Harrogate prem game yesterday. One team were great the other whingers and moaners. Took great pleasure in binning one and giving two pens against them. Got a toughie this morning in York too
