I watched the match at Cambridge. No sign of Jimmy. As I feared, things are breaking badly.
Our over-exuberant start, plus some horrifying errors, meant that the match was over after 30 minutes. Congratulations to Horo for his individual try. He clearly knew that the attack would die if he passed to Duport.
Deport cannot pass and must be dropped. Garcia should be moved to the forwards. Yaha must return.
Marks out of 10:
Gigot 5; Broughton 6; Garcia 6 Duport 2; Richards 5; Albert 4; Carney 6; Casty 6; Pelissier 4; Taylor 9; Stewart 6; Horo 8; Baiteri 7; plus Bouquet 7; Bosc 6; Maria 6; Navarrette 6;
I watched the first half hour of this game and left the rest to record. Needless to say when I saw the score I just deleted it. Two tries while they were down to 12 men - not clever. Yet again Mr Richards failed with a conversion attempt though obviously that didn't make much difference in this game. Monsieur Catalanglais can't blame Escare for this particular debacle!
Off to Castleford on Sunday so hopefully we will play a lot better than against Wigan fingers crossed.
